Weddings at Parkfields Country House

The two wise men – Why I love this photo

The wonderful thing about weddings is that it brings everyone together, young and old, friends and relatives. To be able to capture the true essence of such a special day, I like to give the happy couple a glimpse of how some of their guests shared in their celebrations. It’s quite usual for the couple celebrating their wedding to be so caught up in the moment, that they miss some of the joyous, touching and often funny interactions going on around them.

I couldn’t help being drawn in

The photograph below was taken at the recent wedding of Lizzie and Ollie at Parkfields Country House in Herefordshire.  I couldn’t help being drawn in by these two smart and compelling gentleman.  The easy manner and obvious mutual respect of each other suggests a long history of shared experiences.  But what I really love about this photo is that it could tell a hundred different stories to a hundred different people but only Lizzie and Ollie and those closest to them will know the real story behind the lens.
