Fantastic Country House Wedding with RAF uniforms and classic American cars!
Just last summer I photographed a fantastic De Vere Latimer Estate Wedding at this beautiful and traditional venue. You can view the music photo film I’ve made just click on the photo above to view.
Harriet was the bride and she had spotted me at a friends wedding that I covered previously in Herefordshire. She loved my style (her words not mine) and decided to book me as soon as possible.
Tim was the lucky groom and an RAF man through and through.
There was plenty going on during their special wedding day. The bride’s side of the family were classic American car boffs, whilst Tim pals all came dressed up in their RAF gear. Needless to say, it all lent itself perfectly to my style of documentary wedding photography or storytelling wedding photography
I flew in from Andalucía a couple of days before the wedding, as my partner Dawn and I are currently renovating a house there. But that¹s another story for another day.
How the big day started
I started the day as I often do, covering the bridal preparations. This took place at Harriet¹s mums home in Aylesbury. This was quite near the venue which is always handy when I’m trying to cover everything! Harriet¹s dad was also busy outside greeting her mates, who all turned up in classic American Vintage cars. It was a stunning spectacle and a very unique approach.
However, no De Vere Latimer Estate wedding is complete without a shot of the boys. Think Tarantino! So I head over to the venue. But this was much more unique. Tim and his mates are putting on their RAF regalia, much to my delight. It was all there, from super polished boots to shiny swords.

Besides the great photo opportunities before the wedding itself, my approach to De Vere Latimer Estate wedding photography has the same basis for all weddings that I cover. I just let the bride and groom get on with their day and I blend in, always watching for those special shots.
