Michelle and Adrian’s wedding near Ross on Wye

It was a great privilege to cover Michelle and Adrian’s recent wedding near Ross on Wye. Michelle and Adrian chose me as their wedding photographer as they love my natural, relaxed, fun style of documentary wedding photography.

Michelle and Adrian had their wedding reception on Michelle’s parent’s lovely rustic farm near Ross on Wye in Herefordshire. They hired a large marquee and had it set up in one particular field, featuring an ancient Oak tree. Before arriving at the farm they both got ready at their house in Hereford and then onto the ceremony at Homer Parish Church. As usual, I documented all the events as they unfolded. I like to be discreet and not dictate events. There’s nothing worse than a photographer shouting out orders all day!

Back at the reception, the sun was shining and it looked like we were set for a lovely summers day. The location was beautiful, set in this lovely field in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside. Bales of straw were provided so the guests could make themselves comfortable and enjoy their canapes and drinks. The kids loved it, as they could charge around without a care in the World. Kids at weddings always make great photo’s, especially when they are having fun.

The festivities went on into the night and just as the evening was closing in I thought it would be a good opportunity to get a shot of Michelle and Adrian with their favorite Oak tree. You can see some samples of the wedding below.
