I’ve covered a number of weddings at Upper Court at Kemerton in Gloucestershire. It’s a fantastic Cotswold wedding venue that never disappoints.
The first thing that strikes you about Upper Court is the wonderful atmosphere there, created by the very natural beauty of the lake and the garden. It feels like a very special secret place and is pleasantly intoxicating. The lake retains a wild feel to it with its lily pads and reeds and swans. The house is indeed beautiful with lush lawns wrapped around it. A perfect location for the guests to enjoy their drinks and canapés. It is a truly quintessential English, Cotswold garden.
Equipped with a church right on its doorstep it’s all very convenient for your wedding.
Upper Court is not short of accommodation either. It boasts a number of very comfortable holiday cottages for you and your guests to relax in.
All been said and done this is a cracking wedding venue and it certainly suits my relaxed, natural, creative and fun style of documentary wedding photography.
