Becca and Georges Wedding at Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham
Earlier this year I covered Becca and George’s wonderful Wedding at Manor by the Lake. Here are a few words from Becca about their story….
A mutual love of Xbox!
George and I met on a dating website called “Plenty Of Fish” believe it or not! My friend had met her partner on there and then suggested I try it. We spoke for a few weeks and then discovered our mutual love over Xbox and decided to talk over Xbox while playing games. Then we had our first date, I was so nervous I took my brother with me in case he was a psycho! We had a great first date and it went from there really!
Proposed in a car in the rain
He moved to the Isle of Man to be with me and proposed a few days after my birthday, we were having a car picnic in the rain (My favourite thing to do) and he turned to me shaking and asked me to marry him. I had no idea that my parents and brother already knew and were waiting for us to return 😀
Also, we are having a little girl in July!!
Manor by the Lake in Cheltenham, the venue we chose was FANTASTIC! The team were so helpful and really calmed me down when I got there to prep. They set up our cake when I didn’t understand how to get it out the box, they got all the music ready in time, they were great with my family and so polite.
The dress and flowers were done on the Isle of Man, The cake was from M&S and we did all the centrepieces ourselves.
